Politics of Sustainability 

 

 

Meeting the needs of our customers by fulfilling the requirements, of continuous improvement in the quality of service,our commitment to the maintenance and improvement of our environmental, sociocultural and economic impacts as well as the trying to minimize and if possible eliminate the negative impacts,.We shal try to apply and dissemination the rights and duties of the our guests , clients and officials , seeking to increase the skills of our employees, pertaining to helping the preservation of the environment in compliance with the requirements as wel as addressing the prevention of child sexual exploitation, prevention against discrimination of the vulnerable population and work towards satisfying the return on investment to the owners of our company .

 

At  Hoteles Portico Galeria & Cava we believe that economic growth and the welfare of our society is closely linked to health environment as well as the fisical environment. Consequently, we accept our responsibility for environmental stewardship and are committed to integrating leading environmental practices and sustainability principles into our core business strategy.

 

Collaborating with customers, suppliers and business partners, actively working to reduce the environmental impact of our business activities and to continuously improve and innovate in terms of practices to: conserve our natural resources, minimize waste and pollution, improve environmental quality in the interior, establishing and reporting on key environmental performance indicators and increase environmental awareness among our associates, guests and communities.

 

That is why we adopted this Environmental Policy that provides the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets, based on the following :

 

Apply environmental criteria in all planning and decision-making on issues that might affect the environment.

 

Voluntarily Comply with environmental legislation that is applicable to our activities . Implement the necessary tools to prevent contamination. Rational the use of resources, minimizing the consumption of water, paper and energy; reducing the generation of waste and emissions; encouraging recycling and looking for eco-efficient and eco friendly solutions.

 

We shall Involve all employees of the chain in the achievement of the environmental objectives through training and awareness programs. We shal try to promote good environmental practices among our suppliers and customers.

 

We shall try to contribute to research, development and dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge for the preservation of the environment.We shall collaborate with government and industry organizations in the definition and implementation of development policies for Sustainable Tourism.We hope that our activities contribute to improving the environmental conditions of the region where we operate, identifying areas for improvement and working on efficient solutions adapted to the environment.Admittedly, in many ways, we, as well as the national and international communities we serve, are taking only the first steps in implementing the necessary changes to achieve these fundamental objectives. However, we are convinced that our efforts to create a healthy environment represent the interests of current and future generations and constitute the foundation of a long-term success.

No to Illicit Traffic in Cultural Goods!

We reject the marketing and trafficking of regional and national cultural property, Law 103 of 1991 and Decree 904 of 1941, Act 397 of 1997 and Decree 833 of 2002, Law 1185 of 2008.
